Duris dura franguntur – “hard things broken by hard things” 
This is something I repeat now when things are especially hard; where I just remind myself that this hard thing I’m going through is literally creating my strength to take on harder things in the future. That I cannot expect to reap any rewards out of life if I can’t prove to myself that I can do hard things.
